Not only is guacamole good for you it’s an excellent snack that shouldn’t be limited to just Mexican dishes.

Avocados are packed with vitamins such as A, B6, C and E along with Riboflavin, Folate, and Niacin.
5 Benefits of Guacamole
1. Lower Your Cholesterol
A compound in avocados called beta sitosterol naturally lowers your cholesterol.
2. Source of Potassium
This might surprise you, but avocados contain more potassium than bananas do.
Potassium is important because it can help reduce blood pressure and many people aren’t getting enough of it.
3. Source of Fiber
Avocados are a great source of fiber which helps your body in a number of ways like lowering your risk of disease and helping you lose weight.
4. Vision
Avocados contain nutrients like Lutein and Zeaxanthin which can protect your eyes from developing cataracts and other vision problems. The vitamin A found in avocados also protects your eyes from potential problems like night blindness.
5. Prevent Cancer
There isn’t a huge amount of evidence to support this yet but avocados are one of those superfoods that may prevent certain cancers.
Avocado’s are high in oleic acid which can help prevent cancer.
4 Ways To Eat Guacamole
I love guacamole and there’s plenty of ways to enjoy.
1. Smoothies
Adding some fresh avocado or guacamole to a green smoothie gives it a richer taste and plenty of vitamins and nutrients.
2. Fresh Dip
You can dip fresh vegetables like carrots or celery into a bowl of homemade guacamole.
3. Sandwiches
Instead of adding ketchup or mustard to your sandwich, why not try spreading on some guacamole?
4. Loaded Fries
This is one of my favorite ways to eat guacamole. Top your loaded fries or wedges with a few spoons of guacamole.
